User receives an error in Install Base (IB) transactions while using the standard "Return for Replacement" status for RMA receipt transactions. The desire is to expire the instance and terminate the contract when a product is returned for replacement. The subtype is defined with a "Return for Replacement" status.
Currently user is clearing this issue using the below update statement by changing the status from Return for Replacement to "Return for Rapair" because this status has terminated_flag = 'N'.
Reason why it is failing for 'Return for Replacement' is unknown.
User wants to terminate the contract on the instance by using 'Return for Replacement' subtype because this will change the owner on the instance and as a result contract gets terminated.
