Adjustment Issue: Using New Activity Name Doesn't Save in Advanced Collections

When creating an adjustment from IEXRCALL, the adjustment doesn't save.  There are no error messages, the adjustment just doesn't save.  Using the same adjustment activity from Receivables, saves without any problems.

The debug shows the following error:

ar.plsql.Validate_doc_seq Validate_doc_seq():P
fnd.plsql.APP_EXCEPTION.RAISE_EXCEPTION.dict_auto_log "APP-FND-01564: ORACLE
error -6502 in get_seq_info
Cause: get_seq_info failed due to ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error:
character string buffer too small.
The SQL statement being executed at the time of the error was: select
SEQ.DOC_SEQUENCE_ID, SEQ.TYPE, SEQ.NAME ... and was executed from the file

  1. Create an adjustment where the Receivables Activity Name > 30 charcters in length.
