Symptoms

The APXPCER_XMLP module: Period Close Exceptions Report (XML), completes in Error with the following in the log file.

before_report_apxpcer: flag=EE; message=AP_ALL_NOT_OPEN_PERIOD

The "AP_ALL_NOT_OPEN_PERIOD" is the clue to the solution.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
-------------------------------------------------------------

  1. Navigate to submit request window in Payables Responsibility
  2. Select request "Period Close Exceptions Report (XML)"
  3. Do not enter any value for parameter -  or - select a closed period
  4. Submit the request
  5. Request fails status Error
