Symptoms

On Release 12.1.3 version, when attempting to send a PO back to preparer from the Unable to Reserve Document notification, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
The Document Manager failed with error number 3.

Error Number 3 = Unknown Error.
Contract your system administrator.

Error Messages:
po.plsql.PO_DOCUMENT_ACTION_AUTH.reject:110:do_reject not successful - po.plsql.PO_DOCUMENT_ACTION_PVT.do_action:110:unexpected error in action call

STEPS
-----------------------
1. Revise PO with a GL Date in a now closed period.
2. Unable to Reserve Document notification is generated because the period is closed.
3. From the notification, select Send Back to Preparer.
4. The Document Manager failed with error number 3.
