Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Project Planning and Control - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using Project Role and Named Person as resources in a Planning Resource List.
Creating workplan resource assignments using "Team role" resource. Then created PJR Team role (requirement) from this workplan role assignment (using Resource Usage page).
The Team role (requirement) got created under Resources tab from the workplan role assignment.
In Project Resource Management, assigned a resource  to the team role and approved by necessary approvers.
The assignment got confirmed after the approvals.
But this resulted with incorrect behavior in Workplan Task resource assignment:

At this point, the workplan task resource assignment got replaced by "PEOPLE" class resource. Previously it was "Project Manager" role.
Ideally it has to be replaced with Named Person <person name>, which is the resource been assigned to this role from Project Resource Management.
