Last updated on JUNE 21, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Service Contracts - Version 12.1.3 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When partial periods are enabled, when a usage line is terminated in an unbilled period, the bill to date on the schedule is not updated to the termination date -1.

Expected Behaviour
The bill to date on the billing schedule should be updated to termination date - 1 as done when partial periods are not setup.

What is working
When partial period is not used, bill to updated to termination date - 1 as expected.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Setup partial period billing and create a service contract
2. Add a usage line and counter and activate the contract
3. Terminate the line with termination date falling in an unbilled period
4. In the billing schedule, bill to date on the schedule is same as original bill to date even though the line is terminated. In similar scenario, when partial periods are not enabled, bill to is populated as termination date - 1
