Popup Message Is Not Coming For Duplicate Service Request InTeleService (Doc ID 1576751.1)

Oracle Teleservice - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.


Created a Service Requests with the serial number XXXXX and saved.

Created a second Service Request with the same serial number XXXXX and the Duplicate Service Request popup message did not appear.

The following profile values have been set at the responsibility level.

Service: Service Request Duplicate Timeframe=1
Service: Service Request Duplicate Timeframe UOM=Year
Services : Check for Similar Service Requests=Yes

Expected Behavior

Expect to see a duplicate check pop up window appear.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a SR with Serial Number XXXX and save.
2. Create a second SR with the same Serial Number.
3. Pop up message does not appear.
