QUESTION
Is it acceptable to upgrade the applications tier to 12.1.3, and keep the DMZ tier at 12.0.6 for a week before upgrading the DMZ tier to 12.1.3?

DETAILS
Currently have a 12.0.6 split tier and shared appltop environment. We also run a DMZ tier with the iSupplier Portal application only running.
You are in the process of upgrading your 12.0.6 E-business Suite to 12.1.3 E-business Suite. Question is:
Since the upgrade of our apps may take a whole weekend can we upgrade the local appstier to 12.1.3 and leave the DMZ tier at 12.0.6.
You would then upgrade the DMZ to 12.1.3 the next weekend using rapidclone.
Is this supported?
