Last updated on APRIL 12, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Assets - Version 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3 [Release 11.5 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

What is the the relationship/logic between the depreciation charge for the month and the revaluation reserve amortization for the same period, when a depreciation override is posted?

As an example, before the override is posted the depreciation for the period is 2,248.72 and the revaluation reserve amortization is 1,653.45.
A depreciation override is then processed, increasing the depreciation for the period to 8,790.00. When posted, this increased the revaluation reserve amortization to 6,463.15.
