iStore - After Application Of Patch 17177115 ItemNotFoundException If The Serviceable Item Does Not Have Any Associated Service Item (Doc ID 1577720.1)

After applying Patch 17177115:R12.IBE.B  Exception error message is returned from getAvailableServicesItems() if the serviceable item doesn't have any associated service item


oracle.apps.ibe.catalog.ItemNotFoundException: Item not found
at oracle.apps.ibe.catalog.Item.load(
at oracle.apps.ibe.catalog.Item.getAvailableServicesItems(


1. setup the following:

     1 serviceable item - with 2 services both of which are unpublished
     1 other serviceable item but no services

2. Attempt to load the iStore section

3. Error occurs 



Please note that development have replaced patch  17177115:R12.IBE.B with Patch 17734931:R12.IBE.B so this issue may also occur if patch 17734931:R12.IBE.B has been applied
