Concurrent Manager FNDSM intermittently Crashes / Shutting Down Abnormally When a Concurrent Request is Cancelled

Symptoms
The Service Manager FNDSM, is shutting down abnormally when canceling a concurrent request that it is running or after applying patch 15981173 or patch 15981176. It is also possible that, Administer Concurrent Managers form shows Actual/Target processes are equal, but the process of particular Service Manager (FNDSM) is shown as terminated. The error below is seen in the FNDSM log:

Due to this issue, even the Workflow Mailer Services can also go down as it is looking for the Service Manager.
