iStore gives error "Please use the back button to return to the Billing and Payment screen and re-enter your credit card" when using Receipt Method for Routing Rule (Doc ID 1580392.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Checkout and Order Placement

Issue with Credit Card Authorization

Trying to place order in iStore using a credit card payment results in failure of the credit card authorization and error message -

 
ERROR

An error occurred while processing your credit card. Please use the back button to return to the Billing and Payment screen and re-enter your credit card information.




STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to iStore
2. Choose an item and Add to Cart button
3. Choose Checkout and select credit card as the payment method
4. Try to choose the Place Order button
