Why is the Owner Changed in Install Base (IB) for Return Material Authorization (RMA) Orders when IB Subtype has the Change Owner Field set to Null?

Why is the owner changed in IB for RMA orders when the IB subtype has Change Owner To field as null? This is causing data errors in IB by updating to the customer present on RMA order.
