Goal

How to remove orphan and negative quantities from the supply tables (MTL_SUPPLY & RCV_SUPPLY)?

This issue can occur due to cases such as: an Internal Requisition line being created for a quantity of 320 and the Sales Order being created for a quantity of 160 (as the ordered quantity which is subsequently shipped and the sales order having been closed). In this case the remaining quantity of 160 will show as REQ type supply in MTL_SUPPLY.
