Primary Assignment Flag Missing When Insert Placed Between Two Assignments (Doc ID 1584724.1)

On : 11.5.10 to 12.1.3 version,

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When two future assignment changes for both a primary assignment and a secondary assignment exist and an update is made to the secondary assignment before the future changes, setting its primary flag as flagged. The result is that after saving the record and re querying the primary flag is not present on any of the employee assignments


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the primary flag to remain with the secondary assignment.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. HRMS Responsibility > People > Enter and Maintain > Query Employee
2. Click on Assignment
3. First make two future changes on an employee’s first and second assignment. In this example, update the hours on the 8th July.
4. On 8th July assignment ABC is the primary assignment.
5. Date track back to 1st July and update assignment ABC-3 so that it has the primary flag ticked. Then update the record and insert the change.
6. Re-query the record and now neither assignment has the primary flag selected.
