Bank Account Number Not Allowing Non Alphabet And Non Numeric Characters Like '-' for Switzerland (Doc ID 1584921.1)

Goal

Upgraded to R12 from 11i.
Switzerland location of customer uses different bank Account format requirement which include non alphabet and non numeric characters. E.g. 0835-123456-12 or 1234567.17G.

But the application allows only alphabet and numeric characters. Kindly advice how this can be changed as per the users requirement.
