Symptoms
The concrurrent program "Purge Obsolete Workflow Runtime Data" is purging open items, and possible non-removal of workflow processes regardless of being purgeable.
The issue is encountered in versions lower than the following:
R11i: wfprgb.pls 115.86.115106.2
R12.1: wfprgb.pls 120.13.12010000.8
