Symptoms


When attempting to add value in the Add’l Perf Rating Det’s in the Objective table of the Main Appraiser Review Page the following error occurs.

A value has been provided for a non-enabled or non-existent descriptive flexfield segment. (SEGMENT=ATTRIBUTE1) (VALUE=Outstanding Performance)”


Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. In System Administrator,
Set up one segment in the Add’l Perf Rating Det’s DFF (Validation table based on hr_lookups where lookup_type like 'PERFORMANCE_RATING')

2. In Manager Self-Service > Performance Management > .... >Update Appraisal Page
Personalize the Objective table available in the Update by creating a flex Item

3. In Manager Self-Service > Performance Management > .... >Update Appraisal Page
Enter information in Appraiser Rating DFF field available in the Objective table

4. Receive the Error message
