The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), enacted September 21, 1996, was a United States federal law that allowed states to refuse to recognize same-sex marriages granted under the laws of other states.
In 2013, the US Supreme Court decision in U.S. v. Windsor struck down the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) definitions of “marriage” and “spouse” as unconstitutional.
Will Oracle be creating a new tax category under Imputed Earnings that can be used for same sex marriage benefits being non-taxable for Federal and taxable or non-taxable for state ?
