Adop Fails With Error: ssh is not enabled for the following nodes (Doc ID 1589774.1)

Symptoms

Getting the following error applying a patch running Adop:

APPL_TOP is set to /<path>/appsclnt/..../12.2.2/fs1/EBSapps/appl
[EVENT]     [START 2013/10/03 16:44:04] Verify SSH
Logfile location <path>/appsinst/..../12.2.2/fs1/inst/apps/...../logs/appl/rgf/TXK/verifyssh.log
xml output = <path>/appsinst/.../12.2.2/fs1/inst/apps/..../logs/appl/rgf/TXK/out.xml
[EVENT]     [END   2013/10/03 16:44:08] Verify SSH
ssh is not enabled for the following nodes

[UNEXPECTED]Please enable ssh and try the command again.
