XML Publisher Data Definition ARCUSBALSL - ARXSGPO.xml Can Not Be Updated (Doc ID 1589801.1)

Symptoms

You have verified that the program ‘AR Customer Balance Statement Letter’ uses the data definition 'ARCUSBALSL' where you have to customize the XML Data template ARXSGPO.xml to add the new element 'EMAIL_ID' and you have to add a bursting control file.

But the ‘Update’ buttons in the ‘Data Definition’ page is disabled and not allowing to add any custom XML template file or bursting control file.

There is a need to change/customization on ARCLESTUBB.pls file (ARCUSBALSL is define in XML publisher Data Definition as a ARXSGPO.xml file. This contains select statements to generate xml data.).

Seeded program "Statement Generation Program" submits "AR Customer Balance Statement Letter (AR Customer Balance Statement Letter)". you need to add extra columns to this Data Definition, but the update button is greyed out, thus you cannot update this program.

The goal here is to have the ARXSGP concurrent program to submit a custom concurrent program that in return, can run a custom data definition.
