Why is the Mailer not Moving some Non-workflow Emails to the Discard Folder? (Doc ID 1590169.1)

Why is the mailer not able to move to discard folder emails with the First Name and Last Name instead of an email address?

The mailer log file shows the following error:
Problem handling message -> javax.mail.internet.AddressException: Illegal whitespace in address in string ``FirstName LastName'')
("<FirstName> <LastName>" is the from address)
