On : 12.1.3 version, Transactions Related
When Generate Late Charges is run in R12, only GL date and Late Charge date can be entered, but not the transaction date.
The transaction date for the created Interest Invoice is taken from the “Late Charge Date”
GL Date: Becomes transaction GL date
Late Charge Date: Becomes invoice transaction date as well as the date to which new interest invoices should be calculated.
System should allow run Late Charges for any period back in time, but also allow invoices to get the transaction date and GL date as current date.
Otherwise, invoices will have the transaction date in the past and becomes due for payment, before the invoice is actually printed and sent to the customer.
This will lead to disputes for every single invoice.
