Information in this document applies to any platform.
Many functional users may not have SQLPLUS access. They need to rely on DBA to check if a patch has been already applied to the system. Users also request the DBA team to have patches applied.
Functional users should be able to check if a patch has been applied or not with out having to request the DBA team.
