R12: PA: Project status change history, not able to see all entries if 'Submitted For Approval' (Doc ID 1591653.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 05, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Project Foundation - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Projects Workflow is enabled for a project. When the project status is changed, the status of the project is in 'Workflow in Process' status.

Navigate to >Project tab>Setup subtab and click the Change Status button. See the Status Change History section. When there are more than 10 records under
the Status Change History section, user must click to see the next page to see the other records. User must click the 'Next 10' link, right arrow button, or
choose the 'More...' in the dropdown list in order to see the next page.

When the status of the project is in 'Workflow in Process' status, user tries to click the 'Next 10' link, right arrow button, or choose the 'More...' in the
dropdown list. But, cannot get to the next page. Also, see error of,

Error
The new status selected is not a next allowable status for the current status.

The workaround is to approve the project and then the user is able to get to the next page. This is not acceptable as the users want to see the status of
the project without having to approve the project.

When the project is NOT in 'Workflow in Process' status, user will be able to get to the next page when clicking the 'Next 10' link, right arrow button, or
choose the 'More...' in the dropdown list.
