Cannot Update Item Description For Items Created Prior To R12 Upgrade (Doc ID 1593687.1)

Symptoms

When searching on an item in iProcurement, the item being searched shows the incorrect description, however, once the item is added to the cart, the item description changes to the correct.

It is expected that the item that is added to cart will keep the same description as the item selected from the search results.

Steps To Reproduce
1. Log in and acces iProcurement.
2. Search for Item as "White with Red".
3. Item shows up in the search results.
4. Click the Add to Cart button.
5. Click View Cart.
-- Observe Item description is now different than the description in the search results.
