Manager Self Service cannot perform Salary Change (Doc ID 1593947.1)

On : 12.1 HRMS RUP6 version, Salary Admin

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In Self Service:
For any Salary increase, when there is a change made to an employee's Grade Point/Step without a change made to the employee's Pay Grade, new salary information does not generate. The employee's salary remains the same and does not change as it should with a change to the Grade Point/Step. No salary screen is generated even though there should be a change in salary. No Pay change even after quick pay.

In PUI:
If only the gsp record is touched and increased then Salary history is being created. If the same steps as described in Self Service are performed, like changing Org, Job, Position then increase grade step point then the same issue occurs.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect a new salary record to be generated any time a change is made to the Grade Point/Step.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:-
1.Manager Self-Service
2.Select employee from hierarchy
3.Select Transfer function
4.Enter in effective date 9/27/13
5.transfer to new org& enter new grade point (same grade)
6.submit
7.manager approved
8. verified data in assignment( changes are as expected)
9. GSP - changes as expected
10.Salary page - no salary details
11.ran quick pay - no salary change

BUSINESS IMPACT
