IAC Amounts Are Missing From the Assets Journals When Final Accounting Is Run Before Period Close (Doc ID 1594282.1)

Last updated on APRIL 03, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Public Sector Financials (International) - Version 12.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Release 12, sometimes the IAC (Inflation Accounting for Assets) journal amounts are missing from the Assets journals in GL.
This concerns the IAC amounts in the 'core FA' journals (like the IAC Depreciation amounts in the FA Depreciation journal) and not the IAC Revaluation journal itself.

This happens when the Create Accounting - Assets process is run in Final mode for the period, before the FA period is closed.

The IAC data and accounting is complete and correct at the IAC table level (reflected in the IAC reports/inquiry zoom). The IAC data and accounting is missing at the SLA (Subledger Accounting) and GL (General Ledger) table level only.
