Old behavior - prior to applying Patch 8289661:

Journals uploaded through WebADI did not honor the setup for third party control, allowing journals to be uploaded.
General Ledger prevents entering manual journals against the accounts which have the third party control account set, such as 'Customer', 'Supplier', 'Yes' or 'Restrict Manual Journals'.

New behavior: after applying Patch 8289661:

Using third party control accounts with WebADI errors at Upload phase:

ERROR:
Upload processing did not complete. Exception during parsing of upload document.
java.lang.NullPointerException.

OR:
You cannot use control accounts.  Please choose a different account.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a WebADI journal using third party control accounts
2. Upload it and attempt to Upload > get error

 Patch applied as indicated above.
