How To Resolve Mass Reclassification Inconsistencies Regarding Inherit Depreciation Rules (Doc ID 1595223.1)

Goal

What seems to be inconsistencies can arise when checking the "Inherit Depreciation Rules of New Category" check box if an asset has had an Amortized Adjustment in one Corp or Tax book, but not in other books. 

Qn1: When performing Mass Reclassification for a number of assets in a book while checking the "Inherit Depreciation Rules of New Category" check box, some assets in some books are not having the depreciation method life changed. Why would this occur?
 
Qn2: When performing Mass Reclassification for a number of assets in a book while checking the "Inherit Depreciation Rules of New Category" check box, and also checking the Amortize Adjustment box for the transaction, some assets in some books are not having the depreciation method life changed. Why would this occur?
