Cannot Add Item In Association to Counter Group - Expected Item Is Not In LOV (Doc ID 1595494.1)

When trying to add a newly created item to an existing counter group, the item does not come up in the LOV.

expect the item to be shown in the LOV so it can be added to the Counter Group.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. In Inventory, assign a new Item 100P05330N. It is serialized at receipt, tracked in IB and assigned to an Inventory Organization and the Item Master Organization

2. Go to Install Base (IB) >> Counters >> Groupings and find the existing Counter Group (the one in question) and click on 'Update'

3. In the Item Associates, add a new row and use the LOV to query Item 100P05330N - it is not there
