Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version,

Copy of Existing Item not applying default template when creating a new item.

When creating a new item and using the “Copy of Existing Item” option, it ignores a default template.

Steps to reproduce:

Development Manager

1) Create Production item

2) Select “Copy of Existing Item” option, populate item you want to use as copy from. Say that item has a User Item Type value of A.

3) Select a template that also contains User Item Type, but the default value of User Item Type in the template is B.

4) Choose: "Copy first, then template" option, and complete the item creation

5) User Item Type of the template (ie B)is not applied to the new created item, but instead A value is shown.
