R12.1 Member Assets Get Unexpected Adjustment That Reverses YTD Depreciation At Year End

This knowledge document is a replacement for 1596357.1 which has been deleted.
In the last period of the fiscal year, some member assets have an adjustment depreciation amount, which is the YTD depreciation. This results in a YTD depreciation amount of zero and, in the last month of the year, with a credit amount as depreciation expense. No changes or adjustments were done to the assets. Further, they were all added in earlier fiscal years.
Setup of the assets in question:
1) Deprn method = STL
2) Calculate tracking with Sum Members to Group enabled.
