Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i Security Updates will be provided only if security patches are required for this release in a given quarter. This document lists the latest Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i Security Update that is currently available.

 

January 2022 Announcement: Severity 1 Fixes and Financials Legislative Updates for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 in 2022

Our Tier 1 support offering for 11.5.10 ended on 31-DEC-2021 for customers who contracted for the below described service in 2018. Oracle is extending the Severity 1 Fixes and Financials Legislative Updates for Oracle E-Business Suite (formerly referred to as "Tier 1 Support") for an additional 12 months running from 1-JAN-2022 through 31-DEC-2022 only for customers with an approved custom ACS agreement that includes this limited service.

The 2022 Severity 1 Fixes and Financials Legislative Updates for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 (11i10) option consists of the following components:

Our Tier 1 support offering for 11.5.10 ended on 31-DEC-2020 for customers who contracted for the below described service in 2018. Oracle is extending the Severity 1 Fixes and Financials Legislative Updates for Oracle E-Business Suite (formerly referred to as "Tier 1 Support") for an additional 12 months running from 1-JAN-2021 through 31-DEC-2021 only for customers with an approved custom ACS agreement that includes this limited service.

Our Tier 1 support offering for 11.5.10 is ending on 31-DEC-2017 for customers who contracted for the below described service in 2017. Oracle is extending the Tier 1 support service offering for an additional year running from 1-JAN-2018 through 31-DEC-2018. This Tier 1 service for 2018 is now available for contract as per the August update of the Software Technical Support Policy (pg 17).

December 2016 Announcement: Tier 1 Support for E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 in 2017

Our Tier 1 support offering for 11.5.10 is ending on 31-DEC-2016 for customers who contracted for the below described service in 2016. Oracle is extending the Tier 1 support service offering for an additional year running from 1-JAN-2017 through 31-DEC-2017. This Tier 1 service is available for contract for our customers and the December 2016 update of the Software Technical Support Policy (pg 17), reflects the available offering.

The 2017 Tier 1 Support option for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 (11i10) runs from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017 and consists of the following components:

December 2015 Announcement: E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 (11i10) support coverage options as per Oracle's Software Technical Support Policies.

Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 (11i10) has been in Sustaining Support since December 1, 2013. Customers still on this release version were provided with a 'Sustaining Support Exception' through December 31, 2015. The Sustaining Support Exception provided for additional benefits such as new fixes for Severity 1 Production issues, Critical Patch Updates, United States Tax Form 1099 and some payroll regulatory updates. This exception was provided to customers current on Software Update License & Support fees and renewals for no additional cost.

Starting on January 1, 2016, E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 will revert to Sustaining Support as all "Sustaining Support Exception" policies ended on December 31, 2015.

As previously announced in the lower section of this note, Oracle will offer, at its discretion, specific software product updates when an application version enters Sustaining Support. Descriptions of these services can be found in the Software Technical Support Policies (page 17). Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 11.5.10 customers who have not yet upgraded to one of our premier support release versions have the option to contract for a Tier 1 Support offering available through Oracle Advanced Customer Support (ACS). While the contracting for this service is done by the ACS team, the EBS Product Support Delivery and Development teams are responsible for supporting the service offering.

The 2016 Tier 1 Support option for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 (11i10) ran from January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016 and consists of the following components:

*Note: The January 2016 11.5.10 CPU was made available to all customers who wish to download and will not be limited to Tier 1 only customers.

In addition to the Tier 1 Support offering, Payroll Legislative Updates for the US and UK 2016 tax year are available for Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10. In order to acquire Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll Legislative Updates, your licensed Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll must be currently supported with Software Update License & Support. December 23, 2014: New Updates Announced

As of December 17, 2014 with the latest update of the Oracle's Software Technical Support Policies, Oracle is announcing additional new updates options for E-Business Suite Release 12.0.6 and 11.5.10 (11i10). Oracle will offer, at its discretion, software updates for Oracle Premier Support customers specific product updates when an application version enters Sustaining Support. More detailed description of these services can be found on pages 15-18 of the Software Technical Support Policies.

For an additional fee, customers seeking coverage terms beyond the previously announced Sustaining Support Exception in Nov. 2013 for 11.5.10 (11i10), additional offerings for E-Business Suite Release 12.0.6 and 11.5.10 are now available as published in the Technical Support Policy:

Note: Tier 1 is currently available through December 31, 2015 at no additional fee under Sustaining Support to customers currently supported with Software Update License & Support; thereafter the fee will be based upon the then current Tier 1 fee.

November 18, 2013: Note First Published

During Oracle OpenWorld 2013, Oracle announced an exception that will be provided for the first 25 months of Sustaining Support on Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 (11i10), valid from December 1, 2013 – December 31, 2015. Details of the Sustaining Support Exception are described in Doc ID 1495337.1 and Oracle’s Software Technical Support Policies document on oracle.com.

For an additional fee, customers seeking coverage terms beyond the previously announced Sustaining Support Exception, Oracle is offering Financials Legislative Updates and Payroll Legislative Updates for up to 2 years so that customers can maintain their current Financials Legislative and Payroll Legislative capabilities.
