Oracle Loans: Loan Amortizing After Every Payment (Doc ID 1598781.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Loans - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

You have loans that were entered with the Reamortize options = Yes. They should have been set to No. These loans have been partially billed already.

The goal is to not have LNS:Billing create a new amortization schedule every time it runs, which also changes the payment amount on each loan.
You need the payment amount to stay the same every month, so these setup options should have been set to No at loan creation, but you want the Loan Term to shorten for over-payments.

For all of these loans, you'd like to set the following, via a data fix:
Reamortize On Overpayments = No
Reamortize on Additional Receivables = No
