Need to Utilize IPP: Printer Name at the User Level When a Group Collector is Used (Doc ID 1601920.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 23, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Collections - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Setting the profile option 'IEX: IPP Printer Name' at the user level, should pull the printer from that level.  This works fine, except when a group
resource is used.

But when using a group collector, the printer settings for IEX: IPP Printer Name are pulled from the employee name, attached to the group collector
(AR\Setup\Collectors), not the person submitting the process, even though they are in the group.

Steps to Reproduce:

Responsibility: Collections Agent
Navigation
: Submit Dunning

  1. Using a group resource, the dunning prints to the printer, assigned to the resource that shows for the group collector, not the actual person submitting the process.
