Symptoms

E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 Applications DBA, Patch Application Issues

 

After applying certain patches for 11i (for example <Patch 16966459> or <Patch 17191279>), any patch (e.g. 7456837) which contains "loadjava", some actions hang and the worker log shows the below error:

-Xmx512M oracle.aurora.server.tools.loadjava.LoadJavaMain -f -thin -user "APPS/***** @server.domain:<port>:SID" $APPL_TOP/admin/SID/out/p003ldjva.jar

AD Worker error:

Unable to allocate memory in procedure aiumab().
(num_needed=5120) > (max_allocatable[record_type]=4096) and record_type = 8

Changes

11i <Patch 16966459> or <Patch 17191279> has been applied.
