Quick Search By Account In Collections Form Error - FRM-40212: Invalid Value for Field ACCOUNT_NUMBER_10 (Doc ID 1604713.1)

Symptoms

In R12.1.2

Attempting to search for a Customer By: Account in Advanced Collections Customer Search form and receive the following error:

Error:
FRM-40212: Invalid value for field ACCOUNT_NUMBER_10

The issue only happens when users search using Customer By: Account.
If the search is changed to: Customer By: Organization, the search returns the expected result.

Steps to Reproduce:
Responsibility: Collections Agent
Navigation: Search > Quick Search Tab
In the Customer Search page, select:
  Operating Unit = USP
  Customer By: Account
  Account Number = ####
The error appears at the bottom of the form.
