Customer use the lot reservation (without locator and LPN) at warehouse for Sale Orders. Sometimes the necessary lot exists only at storage area.
In this case customer should move it to picking area. So, the warehouse managers create a move orders which will be performed via MWA after allocation.
Recently customer installed the 'LOGISTICS CONSOLIDATED RUP7 (17442200) (17442200:R12.WMS.B)', but found that after applying this RUP customer has had a new issue -
Error "The LPN does not have the available quantity for the Task" when trying to transact the move orders (via MWA) if lot reservation exists for this goods.
So, now customer can't ship a goods with lot reservations which are located at stock areas at all.
Customer is totally aware of the Move Order Allocating Reserved Stock (Note 1482524.1) , and the patch prevents the already reserved LPNs from getting allocated for a move order transfer or issue transaction.
But this issue is slight different and commented on the mentioned note:
It's about hard reservation when reserve include the LPN. In this case customer has only lot in reservation (not hard reserved), and it worked before
So, we agree that reservation with LPN (Hard) shouldn't move according Note 1482524.1 . But in case of 'soft' reservation customer could move the goods before applying the RUP
Applying 'LOGISTICS CONSOLIDATED RUP7 (17442200) (Patch 17442200:R12.WMS.B)
