UNABLE TO OPEN NEW HIRE NOTIFICATION FOR APPROVAL (Doc ID 1605066.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Hire, CWK Placement, Appl Hire

When attempting to open a New Hire notification, the following error occurs.

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20001:
ORA-06512: at "APPS.HR_NEW_USER_REG_SS", line 162
ORA-06512: at line 1


Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log in as an approver.
2. Switch between a New Hire and Transfer notification.
3. Receive the below error on the New Hire notification intermittently (once it occurs then it occurs consistently).
