Journal Entry Reserve Ledger Report (FAS400) Not Reporting All Assets Shows "No Data Found" Or Wrong YTD Depreciation (Doc ID 1605738.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Assets - Version 12.1.3 and later
Generic (Platform Independent)
FAS400 - Journal Entry Reserve Ledger Report
FAS822 - Account Reconciliation Reserve Ledger Report

A) Journal Entry Reserve Ledger Report (FAS400) not reporting all assets when asset volume in a book is very low.

As an example, setup a special purpose book with a single asset in it. As long as that asset is not retired you should see that single asset on the Journal Entry Reserve Ledger Report.  However, instead the report returns "No Data Found".

B) Journal Entry Reserve Ledger Report & Account Reconciliation Reserve Ledger Report do not display the old distribution of an asset that has been transferred/reclassified.  This causes YTD DEPRN values to be incorrect.

Expect to have the YTD for the old distribution displayed.

Patch 17080568 - Fixed Assets Recommended Patch Collection (RPC), September 2013
