Using The Back Button On PIM Item Creation Flow In R12 Then Continue Causes "Loss Of Page Data" (Doc ID 1606575.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Catalog items

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Creating a new item, or copying an existing item. On the second page clicking the Back Button takes user back to the first page.
After making any type of change, clicking the Continue button results in an error.

ERROR

You cannot complete this task because one of the following events caused a loss of page data:
You accessed this page using the browser's navigation buttons (the browser Back button, for example) and modified its content.
The current New Item Flow data will be lost. This page will be re-posted.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create or Copy Existing item in PIM, which is a two step process
2. On the second page, use the application back button (not the browser back button)
3. Get Error with notification
