Last updated on OCTOBER 01, 2023

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using E-business suite 12.1.3 with XDO 5.6.3 embedded version and facing a huge degradation of performance for XML report concurrent requests regarding the number of concurrent submission at a time.

Noticed that BI publisher concurrent requests which are usually taking around ~30 sec to complete when submitted alone is taking up to ~600-1000 - 2000 sec when run 10 - 15 ... 20 times concurrently (same report).

One didn't notice any huge difference in the server or database load at the time the issue is faced but only a direct relation with the number of XML publisher concurrent requests submissions.

Concurrent request delays are causing delays in printing which cause business delays and shipping delays.

One had configured the Applications tier NFS mount options as recommended in <Note 384248.1> ( means that parameters are :  rw,intr,bg,hard,timeo=600,wsize=32768,rsize=32768,nfsvers=3,tcp,nolock,acregmin=0,acregmax=0 )
