APXTADTC Selecting Argentina OU Is Making Regional Localization Flexfield Active (Doc ID 1608532.1)

Symptoms


Just because the user is selecting Argentina OU it is making that 'Regional Localization' DFF active.

Expect do not see any DFF


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Responsibility: Oracle Payables
2. Path: Setup -> Tax -> Codes
3. Create a tax code

Trying to create Withholding Tax Codes using the standard form,
the GDF is enabled for Argentina and it is defaulted on the form.

Cannot enter the values in the DFF and also not able to proceed with the Basic setup.

Just because the user is selecting Argentina OU it is making that 'Regional Localization' DFF active.

4. The form opens with only 1 DFF [ ]
After entering the Argentina OU, another DFF appears on the screen ( )
After entering the values and trying to save the following message appears:

Values have not been entered for one or more required segments.

Customer recently got a cloned instance from the Production - 'TEST' instance.
In this instance he has not enabled anything for localization or applied any patch.
