WIP RETURN TRANSACTION ACCOUNTING DISTRIBUTIONS ARE NOT FULLY SHOWN IN SUBLEDGER (Doc ID 1608983.1)

Last updated on MARCH 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Cost Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Find that WIP Return transaction accounting distributions are not fully  transferred to XLA.

On further diagnosis, find that out of the 4 rows in the MTL_Transaction_Accounts (MTA) table for a given WIP Return transaction, 2 of the rows have TRANSACTION_SOURCE_TYPE_ID = 5 and these are transferred to XLA.  The other two rows have TRANSACTION_SOURCE_TYPE_ID = 13 in MTA, and these are not transferred to XLA.

WIP Component Return is supposed to have only TRANSACTION_SOURCE_TYPE_ID = 5 in all rows of MTA.
