Function Generated GTIN Generation is not working from Associations -> GTIN Cross References in PIM

Created a PL/SQL function to generate Function generated GTIN. It takes item number and another parameter as input.
We are not able to generate GTIN with that from item Associations -> GTIN Cross Referencess link.
It is giving error 'At least one required User-Defined Attributes View Object is missing. This usually means that the User-Defined Attributes module has not been properly initialized prior to invoking the method "execActionAndReturnAllRowsVals" on the Application Module "EgoExtFwkAMImpl". [This error should only appear during API invocation, never from the UI.]'

Event though by using same function we are able to generate GTIN by click on 'Associate GTIN' button when the item's GDSN Syndicated checkbox is checked.

But Manual GTIN Generation by entering Unit of Measure and valid GTIN number is working by navigating through item's Associations -> GTIN Cross Referencess link.
