W2 Register Report Showing Negative Balances for Box 14 E (Doc ID 1609801.1)

Symptoms

W2 Register Box 14E showing negative balances.

For this employee, it is - 50.00

Employee's Pre-Tax Medical Deductions show a 0.00 (zero) YTD Balance on the View Tax Balance Form after refunding the employee


Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Deduct 50.00 per month, beginning with the following Pay Period:

Pay period 23-DEC-2012 - 05-JAN-2013 (10-JAN-2013 Payment Date)

Until 18-MAR-2013 the element is set to deduct to $50 per month

On 19-MAR-2013 the element was updated to $0 and $150 entered in Show Adjustment Tab as Subtract which is the actual difference we are seeing in the W2.
