NOTIFICATION IN ERROR AFTER DELETING A SUBMITTED TIMECARD NOT YET APPROVED

Symptoms

12.1.3 version, Timecard Approval

When opening the notification of a submitted then deleted timecard, the following error occurs.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Utilize Self Service Time Responsibility
2. Create  Payroll Timecard for employee
3. Click Submit button
4. Return to Recent Timecards page
5. Timecard is in Submitted status
6. Log in under approver and see notification about timecard recently created and send for approval (Timecard (27-JAN-2014 to 09-FEB-2014) for 4529 (40 hours) requires approval):
7. Log in under employee and delete timecard for the Timecard Period 01/27/2014 – 02/09/2014

8. Log in under manager again and click on timecard url: Timecard (27-JAN-2014 to 09-FEB-2014) for employee (40 hours) requires approval
9. Receive the error: Message not found. Application: Message Name: HXC_LOCK_PARAM_RULE_10. TOKENS:

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users on Development/Test/Production are not able to differentiate between deleted timecards and timecards that require action. This slows down the time-entry process and requires face-to-face interaction for clarification
