Symptoms
While creating grants or Updating roles in UMX, the following message occurs:
Updates to Role data will not be visible in the application until the following processes are started : Workflow Background Engine
This message makes it sound like one needs to start the workflow background engine, but E-Business Suite (EBS) shows the background engine is up where this message is mis-leading.
This can be re-produced with the following steps:
1. Create grants or update roles within UMX.
2. Error occurs.
