PERWSHRG Changing Latest Start Date For Contingent Worker Person Type Error with: FRM-40735 ON-UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-01407

When attempting to change the Latest Start date for a Contingent Worker the following error occurs.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Global HRMS Manager
1. People -> Enter and Maintain: Query for the Contingent Worker
Notice both Date First Hired and Latest Start Date is, for example: 01-JAN-2013
2. Try to change the Latest Start Date
Proceed to change Latest Start Date to the day PRIOR, for example: 31-DEC-2012
3. After press correction , both Latest Start Date and Date First Hired will be changed
Notice both Date First Hired and Latest Start Date is 01-JAN-2013
Proceed to change Latest Start Date to the day PRIOR: 31-DEC-2012
5. Receive prompt to CORRECT the record – accept the default
Receive notification that the Original Hire Date will also be changed – accept the default
Record ERROR OUT and is NOT corrected, at the bottom of the page that it was not saved. But instead, there is an error.
From the data on the view, it seems it corrected both dates to 31-DEC-2012, but when you proceed to close the screen, you receive the prompt to correct the record again, because it was not saved. – accept the default.
6. Then it asks if you want to save the changes made. Click on YES.
Brought to the same person screen with the error at the bottom of the page.
So the only option is to exit the form WITHOUT saving the modifications.
